How we work

Integrated pest management

Our general pest control follows an integrated pest management (IPM) approach. Laying bait on its own treats the symptom. IPM treats the cause: we find out why pests are there, how they are getting in and what is attracting them, and deal with each of those.

  • Survey first. We inspect the property, identify the pest and find entry points, harbourage and food sources.
  • Proof and prevent. We block entry points and recommend changes to housekeeping, storage or waste that make the site less attractive.
  • Treat only where needed. We use non-chemical methods where they will work, and professional products sparingly and carefully, following the label, only where they are needed.
  • Follow up. We check the result and leave you with clear advice to keep the problem from coming back.
