When a garden has got away from you, or you have taken on a property with a jungle out the back, we clear it back to a usable space. Because we are a licensed waste carrier, we take all the waste away ourselves, so there is no skip to hire.
What a garden clearance covers
- Overgrown grass, brambles, nettles and weeds
- Hedges and shrubs cut back
- Green waste, branches and cuttings removed
- Old sheds, greenhouses and fencing taken down and removed
- Rubbish, old furniture and fly-tipped waste
- Leaves and debris cleared from paths and patios
Who we clear gardens for
- Homeowners who want their garden back
- Landlords between tenancies, where the garden needs to meet the tenancy standard
- Executors and solicitors getting a probate property ready for sale
- Businesses and sites with overgrown land and grounds
Keeping it tidy afterwards
Once a garden is cleared, it stays tidy far more easily with regular visits. Many customers move on to garden maintenance, especially landlords and owners of empty properties.
Pests found during clearances
Overgrown gardens are a favourite place for rats, and we regularly find burrows, wasp nests and signs of rabbits when we clear them. As pest controllers, we can deal with them on the spot. See rats and mice and moles and rabbits.
It is an offence to damage or destroy an active bird's nest. During the main nesting season, roughly March to August, we check hedges and shrubs before cutting and leave any active nests alone.
